About this Cat
Cecil is a 5-year-old cuddle monster looking for his forever home! This handsome orange guy can be a bit reserved at first as he adjusts to his surroundings. But once he opens up he will be constantly in your presence, purring while making biscuits with his big fluffy paws! He will be happy to give you the best head boops as he snuggles into you. He is also a fantastic cuddler at night, where he will stay close to your side.Cecil is a big fan of sleep. He is typically low energy and mellow during the day, choosing to spend the time resting in a quiet place. In the early evening, he will get a jolt of playful energy and will bat at his mouse toys to get his cardio in. This sweet Creamsicle boy currently lives in an apartment with one adult. He does fine with the routine of someone needing to be gone for work during the day, but is happy to greet you and would love to cuddle with you when you come home. Cecil is FIV+, but that doesn’t mean he can’t live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats in stable social environments. Cecil hasn’t met any dogs or cats yet, but any cat friends in the home would have to be nice and chill. You can read more about FIV here:https://tinyurl.com/58sf9wtj.Cecil would do well in a calm home environment with adults and a child who can be gentle with him. He can become skittish easily with loud, sudden sounds, so easy movements and a relaxed setting is best. This guy is one of the most sweet, loving cats I have ever met! He would make a wonderful first-time pet.Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Please fill out Pet Haven’s adoption application: http://bit.ly/2fd9U2Fpethavenmnwww..org/adopt. We want the Cecil (FIV+)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cecil (FIV+)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
