Introducing Grasshopper and Caterpillar, an adorable bonded pair of 12-week-old siblings who are equal parts playful and cuddly!Caterpillar is a playful, curious, and snuggly cat. She is the first to greet me whenever I go into the foster room and is just happy to be around me (or any person). She absolutely loves to be held like a baby, but also enjoys cuddling with her foster brother and mom. Once Caterpillar is done cuddling, you can find her chasing after any type of toy she can find! Her favorite is a wand toy that she is unusually good at catching and will pounce at just the rightmoment. Grasshopper is just as playful and loving as his sister. He sometimes is a little more reserved to start, but quickly warms up to every person he meets. He is usually the first to cuddle up on his foster mom's lap looking for some belly rubs. His favorite toy is a cat tunnel that he loves hiding in and has mastered the sneak attack on his sister!These kittens are full of energy and will play until they drop for a nap! They love chasing any sort of wand toy, and love when toys are rotated frequently to keep them entertained.Grasshopper and Caterpillar are being raised in a loving foster home with their mom, Butterfly. These three lovely kitties have their own private suite, but love to have fun exploring the rest of the house! This includes romping around with the two resident cats, climbing cat trees, and looking out the windows!These sweet siblings will thrive in a home with other cats and the more people the merrier! They are bonded so will need to be adopted together, but will fit right in with your resident cats. They have not met any dogs but I think their inquisitive personalities will adapt to a gentle canine friend in no time.Are you ready for some high-energy kitten shenanigans this fall? For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Caterpillar / Grasshopper was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Caterpillar / Grasshopper’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Caterpillar / Grasshopper’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Caterpillar / Grasshopper’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
