Butterfly is a gentle, affectionate, 1-year-old cat who is looking to complete your family!This beautiful mama was found with two litters of kittens while being barely older than a kitten herself. Despite her rough start to life, she is still as loving and trusting as can be. She greets her foster mom at the door each morning with an adorable chirp and mandatory head scratches. She is a reliable and tidy litter box user.Her ideal day includes lots of lap time and neck/shoulder scratches, and hyer gentle prompts with her head for pets is sure to win anyone over!Butterfly is the queen of loafing, especially if it is on her window perch. She lovingly watches as her two kittens (Grasshopper and Caterpillar) play together. Her foster hopes that she will soon be able to ""kitten"" again herself, once her main focus is not on her own kittens.This stunning mama is living in the ""foster suite"" with her two kittens. She is the best mom and has endless patience. She has limited contact with the two resident cats but has only shown friendly body language when seeing them through the pet gate! She does not have any experience with kids or dogs but her foster mom thinks her gentle personality would align with gentle, respectful friends.Butterfly will thrive in an environment that allows her to be a kitten again! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Butterfly was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Butterfly’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Butterfly’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Butterfly’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
