Hi future Pawrent, it’s nice to meet you! My name is ReadyFreddy and I am a little puppy with a big backstory. I was found as a stray and lived in a shelter for a month as a little baby until I found my way to a foster home in Texas. I’ve proven myself to be a resilient, strong, and lovely little puppy. In true puppy fashion, I have a lot to learn from this big world, but I am learning oh so quickly! Some of my favorite things are chew toys, Kongs, swimming, and playing with my foster mom’s dog and cat. I am social and outgoing, and love new adventures! My ideal day is hanging with my people, chewing on toys, zooming around the yard, and crashing on your lap when it’s all said and done. My foster mom says I am nailing this whole potty training thing and I’m working on improving my crate training skills. She says I have what’s called FOMO (fear of missing out) and all I want to do is just be with my people and fur-friends! I’m a bit vocal, but really I just have a lot to say! As such, I think the best home for me would be one without shared walls. It may take me a bit to settle into my new home, but I promise I will be the best boy in the world. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and ReadyFreddy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, ReadyFreddy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the ReadyFreddy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, ReadyFreddy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
