About this Dog
BeeJay is a sweet, small (but very tall) dog with a calmer energy that sets him apart from the typical high-strung Chihuahua. He came from a hoarding situation and is now discovering what it really means to be a dog — and he is ready to bloom! BeeJay is curious about his surroundings and interested in exploring, especially outdoors. He enjoys going for walks and does well on a least. Occasionally a new noise will concern or startle him but a hug from his trusted human is all he needs to feel reassured and resume his activities. Because he's not a fan of loud and rambunctious environments, he would do best in a calm home with older, respectful children. BeeJay is happiest when he is next to his human and is the perfect snuggle bug. He is always ready to cuddle - anywhere, anytime. In the rarer instances when BeeJay doesn't pick cuddling as his activity, one of BeeJay’s favorite things is doing zoomies around his foster home. His foster mom will wiggle her fingers and off he goes — full speed! It’s a great reminder of the playful spirit hiding under his quiet demeanor. Here’s a video and another one of BeeJay rabble-rousing in the cushions. BeeJay adjusted quickly to his foster home and has been doing very well with potty training. This little guy is ready for a second chance at life with someone who will love him, teach him, and let him feel safe. Because of his past he could benefit by having a friendly companion dog to help show him the ropes, but he would also be content getting all the love as an only dog. If you’re looking for a loyal, low-key companion with a bit of playful charm, BeeJay just might be the one. Here’s a video and another one of BeeJay rabble-rousing in the cushions. BeeJay is from Texas. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. Adopt BeeJay and Receive BeeJay's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, BeeJay's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is BeeJay's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the BeeJay, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming BeeJay's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and BeeJay was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, BeeJay’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the BeeJay’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, BeeJay’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
