Hi, I’m Tuna! Do you want to play? My absolute favorite game is catch, and I could play it all day long. I am always ready for an adventure, and my silly name matches my goofy, lovable personality perfectly. Check out this video of me playing with a medium sized pup! I love people of all sizes and want to be around humans as much as possible. Anyone who is willing to give me attention instantly becomes my best friend. I do best with bigger dogs, and with patience and practice I have made great improvements at making new friends. You can even check out a video of me playing happily with a medium-sized pup! I do, however, have a prey drive, so I am not the best match for smaller dogs or cats. When I go on walks, I get very excited and tend to pull because I think the world is just so fun. I wear a gentle leader to help with this. I do not love wearing it, but it helps me walk nicely, and my foster mom says I am a champ when I have it on. I also enjoy my kennel and think of it as my cozy spot to relax. One thing I am still working on is not jumping when I get excited. I just love people so much that I have a hard time containing my happiness. With consistency and guidance, I know I will keep getting better. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Tuna's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tuna was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tuna’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Tuna’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tuna’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
