Born in October 2024, Cheta is a lovable 10-month-old Lab mix with a sweet personality and a playful spirit. This happy boy gets along well with other dogs and has spent time around cats—he’s quite curious about them, but respectful. Cheta’s favorite activities include playing tug-of-war with his toys, snuggling up with his beloved stuffed animal (Lamb Chop), and curling up next to his humans for some quiet time. He travels well in the car and is adjusting to his kennel, with just a little whining at first. Cheta has done great with potty training and has seemed to have gotten the hang of it! He’s treat-motivated, eager to please, and a quick learner—making training a rewarding experience. Cheta has bursts of puppy energy but can also be very chill and cuddly. He’s the perfect mix of playful and sweet, and he’s ready to find a forever family who will help him continue to grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be! Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Entropion Surgery, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cheta was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cheta’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Cheta’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cheta’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
