This big, goofy girl thrives in the company of other dogs—seriously, she thinks doggy playdates should be a full-time job and she’s the CEO. Cats? No problem. Chickens? Well… let’s just say Daisy Mae believes they’re suspicious little feathered aliens and she’d rather not negotiate peace treaties with them. She’s got all the basics down—potty trained, kennel trained, and polite enough that you won’t find your favorite shoes mysteriously “remodeled.” What she’s really looking for is a family who will match her zest for life, whether that’s tackling trails, showing off at the dog park, or pretending she’s a 70-pound lapdog when the day winds down. Daisy Mae is equal parts adventure partner and cuddle connoisseur, and she’s ready to make your family complete. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Dental, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Daisy Mae was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Daisy Mae’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Daisy Mae’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Daisy Mae’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
