At just 2 months old, this little beauty may have been the runt of the litter, but don’t let that fool you—she’s full of spunk and keeps up with her bigger siblings without missing a beat. Playful, adventurous, and oh-so-charming, Chickadee is a striking black-and-white kitten with the most adorable little spots on her nose. She’s ready to bring joy, laughter, and lots of cuddles to her forever home. If you’re looking for a dynamic duo, her brother Finch is also available—these two would love to flutter into your life together if you're looking for a pair of kittens. Otherwise, there MUST be another young kitty already in the home as a companion, for Chickadee to be adopted out on her own. Chickadee is currently fostered in St Paul. Kittens do so much better in pairs, socially and developmentally! They have a playmate and cuddle buddy, even when their humans are gone. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Chickadee was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Chickadee’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Chickadee’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Chickadee’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
