About this Cat
If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please complete an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org.Hi, I’m Bluey!I might be a little shy at first, but don’t let that fool you—I’m really just waiting for the right person to show me love. When new people visit, I’ll probably tuck myself away until I feel safe, but once I realize you’re a friend, I turn into the sweetest little shadow. I’ll follow you around like a puppy, meowing softly at your feet until you scoop me up. I love being carried like a baby, and I’ll purr so loudly you’ll feel it rumble in your chest. At night, I curl up by my foster mom’s shoulder, and during the day you’ll usually find me snuggled up with the other cats. I don’t like being alone—I always want to be near someone. Once I settle in, I get along beautifully with cats, kids, adults, and even dogs.I’m a pretty chill kitten most of the time, but when the zoomies hit, I go all out—leaping after toys, racing around the house, and even inspiring the “too-cool” adult cats to join in. I also love sunbathing in the windows and chatting with the birds outside. And yes, I’m a talker—you’ll always know when I’m asking for food or cuddles!I would be happiest in a home with another friendly, social cat to help me feel secure and bring out my playful, loving side. Once I know I’m safe, my funny, snuggly, purring self shines through—and I’ll make sure you never feel alone.Could I be your little shadow and cuddle buddy?PLEASE NOTE: Bleu needs a home with another friendly, playful cat or people who are home most of the time. At this young age, continued enrichment and socialization are vital to her growth and happiness. She came into rescue with her siblings Camembert and Monterey Jack, and their mama Brie, and she thrives in the company of other cats. She also gets along well with the adult cats and dog in her foster home.Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. Contribute to Bleu's Stash!

100% of Bleu's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Bleu.
Adopt Bleu and Receive Bleu's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Bleu's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Bleu's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Bleu, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Bleu's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bleu was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bleu’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bleu’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bleu’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
