About this Rabbit
Hi, I’m Millie! I’m a friendly lop with a white and gray fluffy coat that always catches people’s eyes. Pepper is my bond mate and best friend, so we must be adopted together. Out of the two of us, I’m a little slower to warm up, but once I get to know you, I enjoy gentle affection and your company. If you sit on the ground with a blanket, I can’t help but come over to say hi. While I don’t need constant interaction, I do like knowing you’re nearby. Sometimes I like to hop out of my cage to explore, but I’m not destructive—just curious and happy to roam before settling down again. Pepper & I spend a lot of time playing together. We love our enrichment toys, as they help us stay active and keep us entertained! I like most fresh greens, but romaine lettuce is definitely my favorite! I love to eat timothy or orchard grass hay, and especially enjoy my daily Oxbow pellets. I do well with school-aged respectful children, but I haven’t had the chance to meet cats or dogs, so I’m not sure how I’d do with them. Every day I’m working on my litter box habits. Sometimes you might find some poops outside the box, but I try to keep my space tidy. If you’re looking to fill your home with cuteness, love, and a touch bit of mischief - look no further! *RRMN requires all children be 10+ years old for first time bunny owners and 8+ for those with previous bunny experience. All applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.* If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. Gender: Female Approximate birthdate: 5/17/2023 Approximate weight: 5.07 pounds Adoption fee for Pair: $160.00 (+tax) RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA. If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.

Adopt Millie and Receive Millie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Millie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Millie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Millie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Millie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Millie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Millie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Millie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Millie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
