About this Dog
Luna (Two) came to us as an owner surrender. Her people had a big change in schedules and were being forced to leave Luna alone too many hours a day. She's a 7 month old husky who appears to be pretty close to purebred. She's happy, energetic, and affectionate. She has been vet checked, spayed, and microchipped and her fee is $150. Luna is a somewhat typical husky. She will require consistent exercise to keep her happy. She's a young gal who has had a bit of basic training but is ready for more. We're hoping to find her a home with some husky experience as they can be quite challenging sometimes. Luna has had limited exposure to other dogs but did do pretty well. She should be okay with kids over 5 years old. Cats? It's hard to say. She would love a home in which she's not left alone for long hours. NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South. We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.

Adopt Luna Two and Receive Luna Two's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Luna Two's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Luna Two's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Luna Two, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Luna Two's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Luna Two was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Luna Two’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Luna Two’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Luna Two’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
