About this Dog
My older brother has gotten a dog named Ruger. My brother didn’t really think about needing the time to take care of it, he works and he lives with my grandparents that are both in hospice right now so he also kind of has a full time job at home too. He is a Jack Russell and beagle mix and about 7-8 months old. He’s very energetic and hyper and just a little too much for us with our other dog. We live in a very tiny home so 2 dogs is so much for us right now. He also isn't getting along very well with our other dog which also scares us, we don't want any of these pups getting hurt. So far that i know is that he is apparently vaccinated but we have no papers to prove he is. He is also not fixed but he is sort of potty trained, we have had a couple of accidents but that’s when he gets scared or excited. He was in a euthanized shelter so we took him in because my mom didn’t want him to die (they said by the end of the week they would have put the dog down). My brother was hoping to get it back but at this point all we are wanting is for it to go to a loving home that has time to take care of a puppy.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ruger was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ruger’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Ruger’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ruger’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
