About this Dog
Meet Maggie – A Bright Mind with a Tender Heart Maggie is a petite Border Collie mix with a big brain and a gentle spirit. Weighing just 22 pounds, this beautiful black-and-white girl is incredibly smart and eager to learn—especially when treats are involved! Maggie is still timid around people and will need a patient, experienced adopter to help her build confidence and work through her fears. While she thrives in the company of other dogs, she would do best in a home where she can also get plenty of one-on-one attention and positive reinforcement training. She has made great progress in her foster home, but she’s still considered a flight risk and is not suited for a home with young children. Maggie, along with her presumed littermates Toby and Chloe, was picked up as a stray in Southern Indiana. Despite her rough start, Maggie is making steady progress and has immense potential in the right home. Excellent with other dogs Highly intelligent and food motivated Needs a securely fenced yard and a calm environment Best suited to a home with no young children Will flourish with continued support and training If you have the experience and heart to help a timid dog blossom, Maggie might be the perfect match. Maggie is being fostered in Onondaga, Michigan. Please contact You can complete an application to adopt Maggie or any of the dogs on our website at www.comebyebcrescue.org . *** The potential adopter will get a refund on the Application Fee if it’s determined by the Foster Parent that it’s not a good match for the dog, if we do not process their application.

Adopt Maggie and Receive Maggie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Maggie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Maggie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Maggie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Maggie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Maggie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Maggie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Maggie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Maggie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
