Sweet Miloe was outside and walked up onto someone's porch wanting to be let inside. This poor boy, all he wants is love and a family. He is shy at first, which we completely understand, but will warm up soon. Miloe loves to be pet and get his belly rubbed. We expect he will be wanting to sleep with you very soon. He is FIV+ which means he has the antibodies, but he is asymptomatic and can live a long healthy life. And if he ever gets sick, you just take him to the vet as soon as you notice, just like you with any other pet. Please come meet Miloe and you will see why he is so lovable and so cute in real life! All of our cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for FIV/FELV , and up to date on vaccinations including rabies, distemper, and dewormer. You can meet some of our adorable cats and kittens during store hours at PetSmart, 385 Haggerty Rd. in Commerce Township. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Miloe was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Miloe’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Miloe’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Miloe’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
