About this Cat
Umay is a beautiful medium haired cat who is believed to be 2-3 years old. She recently raised six healthy kittens. All have been adopted except for Davina, who seems most comfortable with her mama. During her stay with her foster, it was noted that her tail became paralyzed, and she no longer had sensation in all but the base. X-rays revealed a fracture in the lower lumbars spine, but she hasn't had any neurological deficits aside from that seen in her tail. She had most of the tail amputated and now has a cute little stump with some movement. The cause of her injury is unknown , but the vet recommended a gentle home so as to avoid further injury to the lower spine. Umay is an affectionate cat, she is somewhat vocal. She loves to play with string toys and chase around her daughters. We are looking for a gentle home for Umay and her sweet daughter, Davina. All of our cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for FIV/FELV , and up to date on vaccinations including rabies, distemper, and dewormer.
