***SPECIAL ADOPTION PRICE***Misty used to live outside. She would come to her foster mom's house almost everyday to eat. Sometimes twice a day. One day she disappeared for awhile and when she came back she brought her babies with her. Finally, all her babies were adopted and now it’s her turn! If you're looking for a loving, purr-filled companion, Misty is your girl! This sweet cuddle bug would happily spend all day curled up on your lap, making biscuits and soaking up affection. She's got a gentle, independent side too-able to entertain herself when needed-but given the choice, she'd much rather be snuggled up with you. Misty will thrive in a quiet, patient home where she can feel safe and loved. She's not a fan of dogs, so a canine-free environment is a must. If you're ready to give Misty the cozy, peaceful home she deserves, she'll reward you with endless love and cuddles! Misty took awhile to warm up to everyone. She’s a very sweet cat now I can pet her on her head and her ears and she likes her tummy scratched. She gives her foster kisses on the hand and purrs when she’s happy. She’s uneasy around strangers so she needs someone that will give her space and has patience to work with her. Once she warms up she is a very sweet cat. All she wants is a home to call her own and be able to run around and sleep in a warm bed. All of our cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for FIV/FELV , and up to date on vaccinations including rabies, distemper, and dewormer. You can meet some of our adorable cats and kittens during store hours at PetSmart, 385 Haggerty Rd. in Commerce Township. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Misty was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Misty’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Misty’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Misty’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
