***SPECIAL ADOPTION PRICE***Smokey Girl is a petite, young lady who can be shy at first. She is very playful and sweet. She had a litter of four healthy kittens in April and was a very attentive mother. But now it’s her turn. She is warm and affectionate and surprisingly very quiet. She loves long sessions of cuddling on your lap, making biscuits and purring and she'll let you know when she's done. She likes to climb and be above the floor. She needs to be an only pet please and older kids only. While she is a big love, she isn’t very tolerant of younger children. She wanted us to mention, that she would appreciate a cat tree or two. Smokey girl deserves the best life!! She has not been exposed to dogs. All of our cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for FIV/FELV , and up to date on vaccinations including rabies, distemper, and dewormer. You can meet some of our adorable cats and kittens during store hours at PetSmart, 385 Haggerty Rd. in Commerce Township. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Smokey Girl was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Smokey Girl’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Smokey Girl’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Smokey Girl’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
