Meet Rocky, a beautiful 1.5-year-old Husky mix with one icy blue eye and one warm brown.Rocky is gentle, affectionate, and loves his squeaky toys (but doesn’t destroy them!). He takes treats with the softest touch and even plays with his toys carefully. While he can be a little mouthy when he’s excited, gently placing your arm in his mouth like he’s inviting you to play. He’s not aggressive, just playful in that classic Husky way.Like most Huskies, Rocky is incredibly smart and would thrive in an active home that not only gives him plenty of physical exercise but also keeps him mentally engaged. Puzzle toys, training games, or even learning fun tricks would be right up his alley.He’ll need a fenced-in yard to keep his inner escape artist contained, and while we’re still learning how he does with other dogs or cats, we believe he could do well with other pups after a slow and proper introduction.If you’re looking for a clever, loving companion with a playful soul and a face you’ll fall for instantly, Rocky might just be the one.You may find me on our website under "ADOPT

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Rocky was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Rocky’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Rocky’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Rocky’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
