About this Dog
Chocolate is a loving adult female pit bull who is 10 years of age. Chocolate is able to light up the lives of her owners and makes a good companion for children and adults. Her caring personality shines through as she always loves to show her love & affection by giving kisses to all she comes into contact with. Although she has a scrappy past due to some of the inadequately low attention she has been given within the living arrangement she has been in, a new loving home that provides her with stimulation is what would be best for her through her later years of life. Chocolate is able to get along with all people but not always other dogs. Chocolate has displayed some aggression towards other animals but with most animals she has been perfectly fine. Overall, Chocolate deserves another big chance at life and to make another family as happy as she's made those she's been with. Who wouldn't want a dog that smiles at you when you ask her to smile bright! I really hate to have to do this but I want to be able to do what's right for her quality of life.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Chocolate was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Chocolate’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Chocolate’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Chocolate’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
