About this Dog
Tulip is a gentle-hearted girl with the softest grey coat and a spirit thatâs just starting to bloom! Found as a stray, she's been adjusting to the comforts of a safe, loving environmentâand sheâs already making great progress. At around 7 months old, Tulip is still learning about the world. Sheâs picked up `sit` and is eager to learn more (especially if snacks are involvedâthis girl loves mealtime!). While she may be a little shy at first, especially around other dogs, sheâs incredibly affectionate and people-oriented once she feels safe. A total cuddlebug in the making!Tulip seems to have missed out on early socialization with other dogs, so sheâll need slow, positive introductions and patient guidance in that area. Sheâs not aggressiveâjust unsure and nervous. With time and a calm, confident handler, sheâll learn to trust. We recommend a home with kids 12 and older who understand how to go slow and gentle with a shy pup. Tulip is all heart, and sheâs ready to grow into the loyal, loving companion we know sheâs meant to be. Loves: People, treats, learning new tricks Needs: Patience, gentle socialization, calm introductions Bonus: May try to convince you itâs dinner time... even when itâs notCould you be the one to help Tulip blossom? If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is Sponsored

100% of TULIP's balance will be sent to whoever adopts TULIP.
Adopt TULIP and Receive TULIP's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, TULIP's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is TULIP's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the TULIP, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming TULIP's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and TULIP was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, TULIP’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the TULIP’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, TULIP’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
