About this Cat
BARN CAT PROGRAM:Cats that are not offered for general adoption are offered as `barn home adoptions`. A suitable barn home would be a barn or an outbuilding (shed, garage, warehouse, etc.) that would provide adequate shelter for the cat/cats. All cats going to barn homes are spayed/neutered, FeLV tested, rabies and distemper vaccinated, ear tipped, and microchipped. By offering the cats for barn home placement, it allows them a positive outcome from the shelter. Cats being offered as barn homes are generally cats who have previously been outdoor cats, semi-feral, or feral cats. Because our barn cats typically need special handling, we request that their adoptions be done by appointment. Please call the Feline Department to schedule one at 410-848-4810 ext 822. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday. Adopters can prepare for their appointment by being 21 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a feral cat onto their property, and having some form of ID that shows their current address. All barn cats must be taken home in a hard-sided pet carrier (no soft-sided or cardboard carriers), provided by the adopter.

Adopt SOLA BARN CAT and Receive SOLA BARN CAT's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, SOLA BARN CAT's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is SOLA BARN CAT's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the SOLA BARN CAT, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming SOLA BARN CAT's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and SOLA BARN CAT was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, SOLA BARN CAT’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the SOLA BARN CAT’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, SOLA BARN CAT’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
