About this Dog
Sloane’s story is one of resilience and second chances. After spending a year in a rural South Carolina shelter with no interest from potential adopters, her fate seemed sealed when she landed on the euthanasia list. Her previous owner, once located, chose not to reclaim her, having lost interest upon learning she had been spayed. But just when her future looked bleak, a volunteer stepped up in a big way—offering to pay for Sloane to attend a board and train program, giving her the opportunity to grow and prepare for her forever home. Thanks to this generous act, Sloane’s life was saved. Now, we’re eagerly waiting for her to find the loving family she truly deserves, one that will never give up on her. We're still learning about Sloan but so far we have learned that she is VERY SWEET and has a lot of energy to burn from being kenneled for a year. She loves to run and play and has done great with a male dog she has met outside in the yard. She can't wait to play with him every day. She is learning so much right now and is thriving with training. She is super affectionate and loves to be petted and will follow her person around the house all day if you let her. At 2.5 years old, she will need a committed adopter who will continue her training to help her continue using all her skills she is building. To adopt, please fill out an application at keytolionsheart.org

Adopt Sloane and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sloane's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Sloane's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Sloane, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Sloane's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sloane was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sloane’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Sloane’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sloane’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
