About this Dog
Tank is a 54-pound, two-year-and-three-month-old bundle of fun and love looking for his forever family. With an adoption fee of $250, this active and affectionate pup is ready to bring joy, laughter, and a lot of fetch into your life. Tank is a happy-go-lucky guy who loves people and other dogs. He would thrive in an active home where he can burn off energy playing games like tug-of-war and fetch (he’s still working on returning the ball). He’s a strong chewer who does best with tough toys—soft stuffies don’t stand a chance. Tank is house-trained and crate-trained, and he’s great about sleeping in his crate—he’ll even let you sleep in. He’s curious but calm around other animals; the resident parakeet barely gets a second glance from him. Fearless by nature, Tank isn’t fazed by vacuums, thunder, fireworks, or lawnmowers (though he may try to challenge them if given the chance). He’s very food-motivated, not picky, and is learning to wait his turn like a gentleman. Basic commands are a work in progress, but he’s easily redirected and eager to learn. What really sets Tank apart is his cuddly side. He’s known to climb into your lap, rest his head on your chest, and snuggle under your chin like the affectionate goofball he is. Tank would do best in a home with children aged six and up. He’s people-friendly, dog-friendly, playful, eager to please, and loves his toys. If you think Tank might be the missing piece to your family puzzle, apply today—he can’t wait to meet you!

Adopt Tank and Receive Tank's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Tank's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Tank's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Tank, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Tank's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tank was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tank’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Tank’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tank’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
