About this Cat
Meet Sweet Pea! Sweet Pea is a little shy but is a sweet girl. Her brother Bashful is also with us at the rescue. She is about a year old. She is a polydactyl (has more toes than normal). Sweet Pea was in a home prior to coming to us where a kind gentleman took her in from outside until she could go into a rescue to be adopted. That gentleman stated that Sweet Pea and Bashful did very well in his home. They are litter box trained. He will sponsor their adoption fee, so their adoption fee will be free to their adopter (originally $85). The $85.00 adoption fee ( payable by cash or check only ) includes: spay/neuter; vaccinations; senior bloodwork, microchip; fecal testing w/ giardia, flea prevention, and FIV/FeLV testing. Cats and kittens available for adoption may be seen by visiting us during office hours, an application is not needed to adopt cats and kittens. Our adoption application may be found by going to: www.headinhomerescue.org; then click on the link to the adoption application. Cats for adoption may be seen by appointment only following an approved application. Please note: while we welcome out of state applications, we do not ship our animals and require adopters to come to Holland to finalize any adoption.

Adopt Sweet Pea and Receive Sweet Pea's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sweet Pea's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Sweet Pea's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Sweet Pea, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Sweet Pea's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sweet Pea was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sweet Pea’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sweet Pea’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sweet Pea’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
