Meet Jones! Jones is estimated to be around 2 years old. He is a hound mix and very much hound like! He will need a panel fence and supervision, as he is a typical hound and will dig. He is in a foster and working on house training and he gets a long well with the Foster's dogs, but we still encourage slow introductions. Jones needs a home with older children because he is young, big and clumsy himself, so not a good fit for a small child. NO CATS! WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THAT JONES COMES WITH FREE TRAINING WITH ROSIE DANE DOG TRAINING! Thanks to the Pedigree Foundation, we are able to work with the trainers at Rosie Dane Dog Training to pay for a 10 week Novice Training course once adopted. More details available upon request! Jones will need a hound experienced home and one that will do some training with him to learn basic manners. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Jones was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Jones’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Jones’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Jones’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
