Natalia is the kind of dog who doesn’t rush into anything. She’ll hang back at first, watchful and unsure, but once she decides you’re okay? Game on. Big smiles, full-body wiggles, and her signature vertical leap that says, “Walk now, please.” She came from a home that was overwhelmed, and she wasn’t getting the attention she needed. A friend stepped in and promised to find her something better. That’s where you come in. Natty is crate trained, walks well on a leash, and knows her basic manners. She loves walks, cuddles, and then some quiet time in her kennel to recharge. She’s smart—like, read-your-mind smart—and has incredibly expressive eyes that do most of the talking. She's funny too. There's a daily stretch routine (paws on your legs, big yawn), and she always says good morning with her whole face. She does resource guard a little at first—crate, treats, space—but it's manageable and tends to fade as she settles. She’ll need someone patient, someone who respects her boundaries and gives her time to trust. Natalia isn’t looking for perfect. She’s looking for calm, kind, and consistent. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Natalia was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Natalia’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Natalia’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Natalia’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
