*This animal is a part of our “Seniors for Seniors” program where we offer senior adopters an opportunity to adopt an eligible pet at a discounted fee.* Meet Gypsy & Khan, a bonded senior duo with hearts of gold and just enough goof to keep you smiling all day. At around 11 years old, these gentle siblings are looking for a soft place to land together. Gypsy is calm and loyal, happiest lying quietly beside you, while Khan is the clingy one—always wanting to be touching his person. They love short walks (where they sometimes bonk into each other), yard zoomies, and cozy naps. Toys aren’t really their thing, but give them a lickmat and some love, and they’re in heaven. Here’s a fun video of them playing together. Gypsy “awoo”s sweetly at every new friend, and Khan will make you laugh with his silly snores and wide-eyed innocence. These two are easy to love and ready to spend their golden years wrapped in comfort, companionship, and care. Kahn is from a local impound. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Kahn's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kahn was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kahn’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Kahn’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kahn’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
