Meet Annabelle – Sweet, Social, and Just a Little Shy in Transit Annabelle is a lovely gray tabby, around 1–2 years old, with a heart full of love and a purr that kicks in the moment she sees you. Rescued from the local impound, she's quickly proven herself to be friendly, affectionate, and ready for a home where she can shower someone with headbutts and companionship. She doesn’t seem too bothered by the other cats in the room, though—like most cats—she’d prefer slow introductions to get properly acquainted. One note: Annabelle isn’t a fan of car rides (can you blame her?) and had a little accident in the carrier on her way over. A bit of patience and a comfy ride setup will go a long way toward helping her feel safe and secure in the future. If you're looking for a loving, social kitty with a gentle soul and a touch of travel anxiety, Annabelle is ready to steal your heart (and maybe your seat on the couch). For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Annabelle was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Annabelle’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Annabelle’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Annabelle’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
