About this Cat
Sakura is an affectionate, attention-loving queen who’s ready to rule your heart—and your lap! At 8 years old, she still has plenty of playful energy and loves batting at toys when she’s not busy demanding pets and love. She isn’t super food motivated, but still gives out her chirpy meow and follows you with the food bowl. She does well for nail trims, especially if she gets chin scratches as distractions! She also uses the litter box with no issues! She gets along well with other female cats and can coexist with mellow male cats, though she prefers to do her own thing and not be fussed with too much. She’s not a fan of dogs, especially the high-energy kind, so she’d thrive best in a dog-free home or with a calm, respectful pup who gives her space. Sakura’s ideal home? One where she can soak up the love, get plenty of one-on-one attention, and enjoy a peaceful, pet-aware environment. She’s sweet, easy-going, and impatiently waiting to meet her forever human. Could that be you? Sakura is from stray surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.

Adopt Sakura and Receive Sakura's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sakura's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Sakura's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Sakura, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Sakura's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sakura was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sakura’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sakura’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sakura’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
