Hi, meet Leonardo! This buddy is looking for his new best friend! Leo is a curious, intelligent boy, always on the lookout for his next adventure. He loves exploring and finding new toys to chase. Leo loves to play! He enjoys chasing pompoms, hair rubber bands, and other fun toys. He has the sweetest little meow chirps to say hello. Once Leonardo gets all his play energy out, he adores getting pets and snuggle time with his human. This is when his purr motor turns on. Even though he has a lot of energy for playtime, Leo is an incredibly gentle cat. He is just so relaxed and polite! Sometimes, he needs to be given an invitation to jump on his person’s lap and he never demands it. This same politeness carries over to other cats. Leonardo has excellent social skills. He gives other kitties a quick sniff and goes on his way. He is very good at reading other cats’ body language, is respectful towards them, but is also not scared of them. Leo would likely get along very well with a cat-friendly dog. It seems that he might really enjoy a dog who wants to play with him. He probably would get lonely without other animals around since he is so social. Leo is wearing a neck collar in some of the photos due to an owie that was healing. The collar is almost ready to come off. Leonardo is an all around great cat. He is adventurous, curious, intelligent, playful, gentle, and polite. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Leonardo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Leonardo’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Leonardo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Leonardo’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
