Rankin has been looking for his forever family for his whole life. He thought he found it twice, but things didn't pan out. Rankin would do best in a home as an only pet. While not tested with kids, he would likely do just fine. He absolutely loves people, snuggles and attention. He thinks toys are for destroying as fast as you can. Chew bones are pretty cool though because they last a bit longer. Rankn loves running the yard, and chasing away the birds. He is quite fast as well. Rankin will sit for attention and certainly knows how to look cute. He takes treats gently and is quiet in his crate, unless it is time for his human to wake up and let him out to potty. Rankin would do best with a home with a fenced in yard. Giving him a chance to run and play. Rankin is a strong little dude. He is only 30lbs and small, but all muscle. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Rankin was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Rankin’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Rankin’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Rankin’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
