About this Dog
Ella Mae is a loving territorial dog. She thinks she’s a lap dog who just loves attention from whoever will give it. She doesn’t know how to react when she’s near sees other dogs and if they bark at her she freaks out and tries to go after them. She guards her food near other animals but if you try to go near it she will just growl. I taught her how to sit and shake and how to lay down. She enjoys going on long walks or even jogging, she loves playing tug or war and fetch if she drops the ball lol. She loves being outside no matter the weather. She just hasn’t been around much dogs and I can no longer control her when she tries to pull after dogs. Sometimes I feel as if she’s trying to attack the dog and but she also seems like she wants to play

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ella mae was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ella mae’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Ella mae’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ella mae’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
