About this Dog
Wynston is such a sweet, energetic puppy that wants to play and spend time with you all day. He loves to work on his training and is so food motivated and smart that he makes it easy! He even goes bonkers over his kibble so it’s easy to train him with his meals. He loves to do anything with you, but also is able to settle down once he has his energy out. He loves to be outside, but tends to get hot quick and isn’t a huge fan of water. He definitely loves his A/C! He was diagnosed with a case of Giardia, which prevented him from putting on some weight, and since he is growing so fast, his meals keep having to be increased. Wynston is SO smart and is really easy to train. He’ll understand a command in just a few reps! He loves to play with ice cubes and balls of any size. He’ll jab at them and push them around with his front paws, which always makes me laugh. His ears flop at the tips while he trots and it is so endearing while on walks. His favorite scratchy spot is his neck and chest, especially when he’s in his “center” command. He occasionally chases his tail and sometimes chases it so fast that he does a somersault. Known Commands : “Sit” “Down” “Focus” - makes eye contact “Wait” - waits for something (ex. To eat from his bowl or my hand, to go out the open door, or to leave his kennel) until I give his break command “ok”. “Ok” - his break command “Leave it” - to not bother something “Kennel” - to enter his kennel “Center” - to sit between your legs and look up at you “Touch” - touches his nose to (mostly) your right hand “Stay” - stays put in whatever position (sit or down) until you say “ok”. He will even go into a down from a sit if you ask from a short distance away. “Drop” - will drop something from his mouth. He is very consistent with this when you have a hand on the toy while he has it in his mouth, but will also sometimes do it on his own. The adoption fee for puppies under 6 months of age is $265. If the puppy is too young or small to be fixed there will be a $75 spay/neuter rebate form provided. They currently have at least 1 puppy shot,, flea preventative, heartworm preventative and are microchipped with lifetime registration ($13).
