Hi, I’m Daisy—small in size, big in personality! Born around 6/10 and a chihuahua mix I may be tiny, but don’t let that fool you—I’m full of energy, confidence, and cuddles! I’m an adventurous little explorer who loves to check out every corner of the yard, and I never miss a chance to romp around with my doggy friends. When playtime is over, I’m all about the snuggles. Curling up in your lap is one of my favorite things in the world. I’ve got a heart as big as my curiosity and can’t wait to share it with a family who’ll love me as much as I’ll love them. What I need in my new FURever home is people who are home much of the day to care for me (I am small so I need lots of potty breaks) and with little humans 8 and older only . If you’re looking for a pup who’s playful, fearless, and oh-so-sweet, I just might be your perfect Daisy. Your application will be reviewed by our team and if it is a good fit, we will send to the foster family to set up a meet! The adoption fee of $550 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed! *please note that we are a foster home based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Daisy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Daisy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Daisy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Daisy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
