About this Dog
Bailey is a 9 month old female Bernese Mountain Dog who weighs in at 60 pounds. This dog's adoption fee is $1050. If you are still interested, please read more below. Bailey is great with kids and women but very nervous with men initially. She warmed up after a day or two. She steers clear of all people when out on walks. Bailey is a total love at home. She loves to cuddle and wants to be with her people all the time. She would be best in a home where someone is home with her a lot of the time as she does seem anxious and gets into things if left alone for long. She loves other dogs and plays great with her foster brother. Bailey is mostly trained in the house but definitely needs some training for jumping, walking on the leash, etc. She is very smart and learns very quickly. She is definitely best when supervised as the puppy can come out when she is left alone for too long. Bailey is not crate-trained as she was free roaming when she was surrendered to ARF. Bailey is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations and spayed. This dog's family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing. A meeting will not be scheduled until you have an approved application, so if you are interested in adopting this dog, fill out an Online Application today! Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will contact you to arrange a meeting.

Adopt Bailey and Receive Bailey's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Bailey's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Bailey's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Bailey, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Bailey's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bailey was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bailey’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bailey’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bailey’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
