If you are still interested, please read more below. Hello !! I am a young puppy and everyone says I am soooo adorable, cute, affectionate and very very playful! Like any puppy. I am like the Energizer bunny and am always on the go….playing with my toys, chewing on my bone toys and when my foster mom brings me outside I go do my business right away and love to check everything outside. I am still working on inside training, but if you bring me outside often I am not so bad! Then after lots of play I crash on the couch and fall asleep! I love people and will greet you by putting my front paws on your shoulders and I will give you tons of kisses!! Because I love chewing on everything, I might not be a good choice for a family with kids under 10-12 years old. But give me lots of toys to chew on and it will be much easier for me and you!! At night I sleep in my crate next to my foster mom ‘s bed, and if you take me out to pee after 3-4 hours I will keep my crate dry. No accidents that way! Being still very young I would love to have the company of another dog, or be in a family with lots of people to cuddle and play with. So….are you ready for me?? This pup is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and spayed. The new family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing. Please note ARF does not approve applications for any puppy under 6 months of age to families that live outside of Illinois and/or beyond 100 miles of Wheaton or Glen Ellyn, IL. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bacon was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bacon’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bacon’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bacon’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
