Claude is an approximately 10 year old purebred male grey miniature poodle who weighs in at 12 pounds. This dog's adoption fee is $200. If you are still interested, please read more below. This sweet boy had to come back to ARF because his Mom needed more care herself. She moved to assisted living and was not able to take care of her beloved dog any longer. He was already an aging dog when she adopted him. Today he has many challenges. He is looking for an angel who will care for him, provide soft beds for his many naps, and loving pets for him. He is on blood pressure medicine for the rest of his life, his sight is extremely limited, and his hearing is going. He does get the zoomies after a bath and excited at meal time - you see the puppy emerge often for quick bursts. He is fine with cats (ignores them) and gets along well with other dogs. Claude is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations and neutered. This dog's family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing. A meeting will not be scheduled until you have an approved application, so if you are interested in adopting this dog, fill out an Online Application today! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Claude was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Claude’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Claude’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Claude’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
