Iris is a 3 1/2 month old sweetheart. She is very affectionate and playful. Gets along well with other cats and ready to play at all times. Belly rubs are the best and purring is her specialty. She would love to have a companion cat or be adopted perhaps with one of the fellow fosters in her home (Leonardo, Frida,Georgia, Pop, Emma, Jackson). Come meet them all - they are all wonderful kittens. We encourage you to consider adopting kittens in pairs! There are several reasons why Iris would do well with a friend, including: - Two kittens keep each other entertained - they will play and get all their energy out on each other in time for snuggles with you! - Having two kittens to play with each other prevents potential "I'm lonely and bored" behavioral issues. - Watching two kittens wrestle is quite possibly the cutest thing you will ever see. - The kittens will teach each other "how to cat" and learn to be more social with humans and people. - You'll save two lives instead of one! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Iris was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Iris’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Iris’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Iris’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
