Hi everyone! My name is Maricopa and I am a sweet 3-year-old tabby kitty. I grew up in a home with a lot of other cats so I am a huge fan of other friendly felines. My previous family didn’t have enough time to take care of me properly so I was surrendered to ARF and I’m now looking for a new forever home. I am sweet but scared and would really like to go home with a family who is okay with helping to teach me how to trust humans and accept lots of love and attention. If you adopt me, you’ll spend lots of time taking pictures of me falling asleep in the cutest positions, eating yummy food and treats, and watching the birds flying around outside. Are you ready to meet me? Maricopa has two siblings Chula Vista and Whiteriver whom she is very close. All three would love to go home together! Maricopa is microchipped, up-to-date on all vaccinations, spayed, and litter box trained. Maricopa's adoption fee is $135. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Maricopa was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Maricopa’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Maricopa’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Maricopa’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
