Meet Tigger with the big, beautiful, luminous light green eyes!Tigger is a sweet and curious, laidback and affectionate fellow who can be a little timid til he feels comfortable in his new home. No surprise since this sweet guy's been through a lot in his short life( He was returned to a shelter by his previous owner due to allergies and later developed a virus requiring hospitalization). Now that he's completely healthy and has gotten some well deserved TLC from his foster family, he enjoys basking in the sun, getting chin scratches and pets, rubbing up against his human friends and even some play time batting around wand toys! While not a fan of being picked up, he definitely shows affection and enjoys being around people. He's been rebuilding trust and is blossoming in his foster home, becoming more confident, affectionate and outgoing. Tigger's 'purrfect' home would be calm, quiet woth adults who are patient and loving and are ready to show him the love he craves which he will happily return. Older, respectful children should be fine, too. As far as furry friends go, he could go solo or do well with a laidback kitty who respects his boundaries. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Tigger's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tigger was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tigger’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Tigger’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tigger’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
