Who’s that handsome dapper lil’ gentlemen over there? It’s Colonel, a mama’s boy now looking for a human to attach his love to. Colonel is a sweet, old soul who is calm, quiet and so well behaved. He is playful but also more than happy to calmly rest by your side and stare at you do weird human things. Colonel was the most attached to his mom and gets a little scared when separated from his siblings. But what he lacks in bravery he more than makes up for in sweetness. He even lets his siblings eat the wet food before he digs in. Awwww!Colonel loves to wrestle with his siblings and is even a gentle wrestler with the runt of the litter, Eliza, who is half his size! We told you he’s a gentleman! Given how much love he has for his siblings, he’d love to be adopted with one of them. Colonel, short for Colonel Sanders, was rescued from Kentucky (hence the name!) with his siblings (Eliza, Lexi, and Slugger) and would be the perfect addition to just about any home, including those with children and other cats.Colonel may be a little shy but have a bit of patience and you will be more then rewarded with one the kindest, sweetest old souls. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Colonel's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Colonel was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Colonel’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Colonel’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Colonel’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
