About this Cat
Lime is a beautiful black kitten with soulful, unique eyes and a gentle spirit. She’s still learning to trust the world around her, but she’s already made big strides—she’ll accept gentle pets and will happily take a Churu treat right from your hand. With a little patience and love, Lime is on her way to becoming a devoted companion. She’ll need a quiet, loving home with someone who understands that trust takes time. Lime would do best with a kind-hearted adopter who will let her bloom at her own pace. She should have a young cat companion—ideally one who’s confident and gentle—to help her feel safe and encouraged.s a young kitten, Lime battled an eye infection her tiny immune system couldn’t fully fight off. While the infection is long gone, it left her with slightly impaired vision. Don’t worry—her eyes don’t cause her pain and don’t require any ongoing medical care. They just make her look even more special.Lime may be a little cautious, especially during playtime, but that just means she won’t be launching herself onto your countertops mid-meal prep. Talk about a silver lining! Give Lime a chance, and with a little patience, she’ll learn that you’re her safe place—and eventually, her whole world.Apply at online application (catsfff.org/adopt)View all of our adoptable cats here (catsfff.org/cats)Our adoption fees are listed here (catsfff.org/adoption-fees)

Adopt Lime and Receive Lime's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Lime's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Lime's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Lime, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Lime's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lime was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lime’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Lime’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lime’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
