You see, Asher was found abandoned with his brother, Boone, in the lobby of an apartment building. A good samaritan tried to do the right thing and find a shelter to take them in, but after many failed attempts, they eventually dropped them off at our adoption partner store in the South Loop during an adoption pop-up. When another foster found these boys, the rescue and foster jumped into action and got them to safety. Despite a tumultous few months, he adores being in the company of people and is always eager to shower his humans with affection.He has a remarkable two-tone nose that makes him truly unique and adds to his irresistible charm.His favorite activities include chasing any toy he can find, proving that he's not just a cuddle bug but also a playful feline companion. One of Asher's superpowers is his ability to capture hearts with hisendearing personality. If he had one job in the world, it would be a professional lap warmer as he is always ready to climb into your lap for love. Asher is a lovebug dreamboat cat who needs to be adopted with his bonded brother, Boone, as they share a special bond. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Asher was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Asher’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Asher’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Asher’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
