Hi, I'm Lilah! I am a sweet yet independent boy with a lot of love to give. I know, I know, my name might've made you think I'm a girl. But we aren't about gender stereotypes here...also, my finder thought I was a girl but anyway, back to how great I am! I like to spend time with my humans. I'll rub up against your legs and cuddle next to you! I might make an appearance on your virtual calls too if you work from home. I'm a semi playful guy who likes cat nip filled toys! But really I'm more into pets and love. While I love humans, I also strongly value my independence. I will find a comfy hidey spot to settle into and get in some beauty sleep. You get the best of both worlds with me! I am purrrrfect for a human(s) who wants a sweetheart that isn't needy and can do his own thing.Please understand I am NOT cat or dog friendly. I prefer to be your one and only! Don't worry, I'll give you lots of love to make up for it! I have not been around kids. I would probably do best in a quieter home without young kids (under 12), so childfree or empty nesters to the front! Like I said, I AM friendly and NOT shy, but sudden loud noises and movements can make me run under a bed or couch. My purrrfect home would be a patient, understanding human(s) who don't mind me randomly being overly sweet and then overly independent. It's just the way I am! I can get very anxious over major changes in my life, so a home that lets me decompress on my own terms is crucial. I really value quiet time with my family! Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Lilah's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lilah was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lilah’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Lilah’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lilah’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
