About this Cat
Meet Jax! Jax is an easy-going young gentleman with a heart of gold and a playful streak that shines once he’s settled in. While he may be a little skittish around unexpected noises, don’t let that fool you—Jax is a resilient explorer who’s always ready to chase, climb, and sneak up on unsuspecting feline friends with a mischievous sparkle in his stunning copper eyes.Partially blind? No problem. Jax zips through the living room with zoomies galore, hops onto chairs with careful confidence, and knows how to navigate life like a pro. His superpower is his unwavering spirit—he doesn’t let a few challenges get in the way of having a great time.Jax isn’t one to meow for no reason, but when he does, he makes sure you hear it! His signature “please-pet-me” meow is usually followed by head boops and happy purrs. While he’s not the cuddliest cat in town, he definitely enjoys affection on his terms and even welcomes the occasional belly rub. He’s been great with older kids and grown-ups during his time in foster care. Jax has a history of seizures, which are managed with a daily medication. He would thrive in a quieter home without very young children. He hasn't met dogs yet, but with the right introductions, he may be open to a calm canine friend. He could do fine as a solo cat with attentive humans, though he'd also enjoy the company of a gentle, easy-going feline companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, independent, and inspiring cat with a playful heart and a gentle soul, Jax just might be your perfect match. He’s proof that even with a few quirks, life can still be gouda. WE DO NOT HAVE A PHYSICAL LOCATION AS WE ARE A FOSTER-BASED ORGANIZATION. Adopt Jax and Receive Jax's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Jax's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Jax's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Jax, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Jax's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Jax was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Jax’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Jax’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Jax’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
