About this Dog
Meet Lady, a gentle, reserved 6-year-old Pomeranian mix weighing just 10.6 pounds. Lady is a resilient little girl, and we’re so grateful to have rescued her just in time—she recently had a mammary mass removed, which was identified as a low-grade carcinoma with clean margins and no invasion. She’s now on her way to a happy, healthy life! Lady is making wonderful progress with house-training by watching and learning from her foster siblings. She’s also crate trained, finding comfort in her safe space. She loves spending time in the yard, running around the house, and playing with her favorite toys or chewing on bones. Though shy and timid, Lady enjoys being near her people once she feels secure. Loud noises and busy environments can startle her, so she would thrive in a calm, quieter home, ideally with another dog to help build her confidence. Due to her timid nature and lack of leash training, a fenced yard is a must. She would also do best with kids over 10 who can respect her need for gentle handling. Her foster parent shares, “Lady loves interacting with other dogs and mimics their behavior, which has really helped with her house-training. While she’s initially skittish around new people, she’ll warm up with time, and soon she’ll be right there for head scratches.” If you’re looking for a patient, loving companion who just needs a bit of time to trust, Lady might be the perfect fit for your home! Her adoption fee is $295 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. Adopt Lady and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Lady's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Lady's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Lady, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Lady's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lady was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lady’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Lady’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lady’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
