Meet Albert, a 12 lb sweet and very sweet Dachshund mix whose tail never stops wagging. We estimate his birthdate to be around February 22, 2025. He loves nothing more than spending time with his person, whether that's lap sitting or just hanging out. He does love a good walk, too. He is a pretty mouthy pup and his foster mom is working on that. She also reports he gets along well with the other small dogs in the home, is crate trained and working on his house training. He is a pretty athletic guy, does zoomies every day and has enjoyed playing with the other foster dogs in the home, but his very favorite activity is getting lots of petting and cuddling. His adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee rabies registration fee for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Albert was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Albert’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Albert’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Albert’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
