Babs is a gentle, affectionate sweetheart who’s ready to find her forever home. She adores her neighborhood walks, enjoys her toys, and has recently discovered the joy of treats (she thinks they’re delicious! ). This lovely girl also loves being brushed and has been incredibly tolerant as her foster has helped her work through some matted fur.She’s a true “follower,” happily trotting after her foster from room to room just to be close. Babs clearly must have been loved at some point—her affectionate nature shines through every day. Babs is friendly with other dogs, would do well with older children, and thrives in a home where her people are around at least part of the day.She doesn’t enjoy the crate and cowers when told "no", so she’ll need a patient, understanding family to help her adjust to a new environment. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Babs's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Babs was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Babs’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Babs’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Babs’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
