Meet Dolly! Border Collie Mix | 6 Years Old | Sweetheart Extraordinaire Dolly is a gentle, loving 6-year-old Border Collie mix with a heart of gold and a playful spark that keeps things fun. She will need to get in some exercise as she weighs about 90 lbs but she's up for anything. She’s great with kids, dogs, and cats—and while she’s curious about the kitties, she’s respectful (even if your cats are used to darting from bouncy puppies!). Dolly is a total lovebug—kisses are her love language, and she’ll happily dole them out to her favorite humans. She enjoys playful games like chasing the other pups around the yard but also has a protective streak—she doesn’t love when roughhousing gets a little too wild, especially if it involves her people. She’s a big fan of cozy spots—air vents, dog beds, and especially couches (if she can hop up). Her beautiful coat does require regular brushing to prevent matting, but a little grooming time is just another opportunity for bonding with this affectionate girl. Dolly would thrive in a home where she can be loved, brushed, and included—she's got so much heart to give and is ready to share it with a forever family. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Dolly was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Dolly’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Dolly’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Dolly’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
